Brigitte Burdine

Brigitte Elaine Burdine was an American voice-casting director who worked on several video games such as World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King, Xenosaga II, Tales of Symphonia, Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly, and the head director of SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Confrontation.

She originally moved to Los Angeles for her acting/modeling career in 1980 at the age of 18. Soon after, she landed roles on popular TV shows such as CHiPs, Hill Street Blues and also played parts in several movies before making her transition to the video game industry as a casting director in 1999. Burdine's company, BB Casting, has cast roles for the industry's leading video game producers, including Electronic Arts, Sony, Microsoft and Activision.

On December 29th, 2010, Brigitte was killed at 1:45am by a hit-and-run driver while walking home along Culver Blvd in Playa Vista, Ca. Burdine was an inspiration to every female who wanted to make a living playing and/or making video games.
