The return of the popular comedy ecchi anime High School DxD just received a huge boost, alongside a recent announcement by staff that the series has passed 7.8 million copies in circulation.
The series' official X (formerly Twitter) teased a big announcement for High School DxD on, May 1, 2024. While many had hoped it would be an official announcement of High School DxD Season 5, it was instead revealed that the series had passed 7.8 million copies in circulation, with the staff saying, "School, battle, romantic comedy, and *****...! This work, which has many fun features, has become available in many languages," before notably adding, "Not just novels, DxD will continue in all forms. Everyone, please continue to support us!"
