Tsubasa Ootori
大鳥翼
A mysterious, mostly calm at the beyblade battle, character who first appeared in ep. 24. Ginga and Tsubasa walked to the tournament together and is the opponent for the episode. His beyblade is Aquila.
Season 1:
He has been giving hints to Ginga before and throughout the tournament.
From ep. 26 to ep. 37, he got involved with Daidouji's company to investigate the weak point of Ryuga's beyblade because his goal is to defeat Ryuga (the strongest beyblader in Daidouji's group). In ep. 35, he began to move to find out information to Ryuga's beyblade and how to win against it. While that, he found one of the battles he had against Ginga and the truth about Ryuga's beyblade. After learning that, he's no longer a part of Daidouji's company (according to ep. 38).
According to ep. 39, he's a member of WBBA, who got request to defeat Ryuga. He became one of friends and competitors of Ginga. He lost in second round against Ryuga and hurt badly (and unconscious) from his beyblade energy getting stolen by Ryuuga. Fortunately, he was saved when Ginga won the battle against Ryuuga/ "El Dorago".
According to Japanese wiki, he appeared as one of 3 knights of Daidouji's company in manga and his outfits, eyes, etc. were different from Anime. His eyes were closed often in manga.
Season 2 (Baku/Explosion):
In the beginning of season 2, he has a fear of losing in the battle since his lose to battle against Ryuga in season 1. In two of the battles (1st one with Kyoya) so far, he lost his calmness and showed the darkness, as Yuu commented in the second battle as the situation is like Ryuga, so he's been afraid of battling.
It was explained after the battle against Kyoya's team that Ryuga's darkness from El Dorago was affected during that battle in season 1, it is why there's darkness haunting him.
There was a past when he first lost to an opponent, who did dirty thing to win against him. Young Tsubasa had a thought about revenging that boy, but later found out through caring for an owl he found that he needs to do the battle "straightforwardly". Now, he has been overcome with the darkness with the thought of fighting alongside with his teammates (and what Ryuga, who had overcame with his darkness as well, said).
Season 3 (4D):
Even though he's not a legend blader, he supports the legend bladers in fighting against Nemesis at the end of the series as a member of WBBA (order of Ginga's father).
Zero-G:
Tsubasa is grown-up and is supporting the new beybladers as a director of WBBA after Ginga's father.
