In the manga she is always cheerful, energetic, and cute. A transferred student, also an abnormal person. She smells like lilies. In Kureha's dreams, Ginko is dressed as a bear and believes that bears are the beginning and the end of the world. She becomes friends with Kureha.

From Lulu's story, Ginko was a princess from a long ago. Ginko felt isolated from every "bear" until she met Kureha because Kureha is the only actual human in the academy.

In the anime she was abandoned by her parents as a baby cub. She was always alone. After fighting in a war between humans and bears, she was supposed to die alone without finding love. A girl sang her a love song and saved Ginko. Ginko fell in love. Years after, Ginko meets Lulu Yurigasaki and Lulu joins her. They're on their way past the wall to reunite with the same girl. To do so, they had to transfer schools as "humans."

Ginko and Kureha were actually childhood friends until Kureha's memory was wiped. In episode 12 Kureha transforms into a bear and they shared the "Promise Kiss" Ginko has been waiting for.
